Video to DVD Transfers
Why not transfer all your valuable
footage to DVD.
VHS does not last forever, VHS can and will
loose
picture quality over time.
Depending on how and where you store your
VHS tapes
can have a dramatic
affect on the quality of your footage.
If looked
after properly DVD does not
loose
quality of picture
nor sound.
Discs we use are either DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, or DVD+RW
Please
see
below for choosing the right type of disc for your DVD Player.
Chapter points are inserted at exactly 5 minute intervals to enable
navigation quickly through the disc. (Please note that these chapter points
will therefore not correspond to the start
of specific points in a program or film)
It is recommended that tapes (especially if
irreplaceable) be delivered and collected
(by appointment only)
If this is not practical please note that the postal service is used at your
own risk.

What
DVD Disc is right for me?
The standard DVD disc that we write to is the DVD-R type disc.
Not all DVD players
will play DVD-R discs; therefore if in doubt you should
check the manual
of your DVD player to make sure that your DVD player is
capable of playing DVD-R type discs.
You might also want to check for
any compatibility issue at
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.
If you are still unsure please consult the manufacturer of your DVD
player.
If your DVD player
is not compatible with DVD-R discs we can also write to the
following formats
which are: DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW. Please let us know when
ordering
which type of disc you'll require for your transfer. We cannot accept
any responsibility for DVD discs, which do not play in your DVD player.
Copyright
Protection
We will only convert footage where you are the owner of the copyright
or
you have obtained permission from the owner.
We
reserve the right to refuse any transfers where we feel breach of
copyright exists
